T.I.L. Darling - The Online Clothing Boutique was founded in the winter of 2008 in the heart of London by Daniel Hsu and Suphanna "Toon" Bhasitnirandr, two Master in Finance students attending
the London Business School. As required by the University of London system, the two were required to complete a final project by the end of their program.
Though neither have any formal training in fashion design or merchandising, both have had a long time fascination of fashion design and styling. Both were also eager to start their own retail business for as long as they could remember. Despite protest from their project advisor, T.I.L. Darling - The Online Clothing Boutique was born.
Many of their classmates wondered why the two were carrying a 10‘ by 12’ backdrop and other equipment through the halls of their university. The student service office receive dozens and dozens of packages for their boutique and while other students were working steadfast on their finance projects and assignments, the two headed to Oxford Circus to pick up stock. Daniel’s small flat was 80% occupied by stock and equipment for the boutique. Showing such committment, they soon garnered the support of their classmates, though many critics remained.
With their students loans and credit cards in hand, the boutique was started on a shoestring budget focusing on fashion forward dresses for women between the age of 16 to 35 years of age. Within three months, the boutique had broke even and T.I.L. Darling had become more than just a student final project, but a credible business. Their biggest critics were surprised and could no longer contend their achievements and in the end their project advisor, maybe their biggest critic, awarded them an "A" for their project.
After a few more months in London, Suphanna and Daniel decided they had to return to their respective home countries. Thus, T.I.L. Darling’s main operation moved to the United States of America. The boutique gained quite a following in the United Kingdom and is committed to maintaining their relationship with those customers. After all, it is the fast and forward looking fashion of the United Kingdom and Europe that has truly inspired T.I.L. Darling to provide a range of unique and forward looking lines of clothing for those women who want to be noticed. Our biggest fans are those who have worn our dresses to such events as their engagement parties and high school proms.
Though T.I.L. Darling is sad to leave the United Kingdom, it has managed to garner great support that has allowed it to relaunch on a much larger scale through the support of private investors. T.I.L. Darling has grown from being a dress boutique to a full blown store offering women’s tops, trousers, bags, jewelry, eyewear, intamites, and more.
T.I.L. Darling - The Online Clothing Boutique is proud to be in the United States of America and looks forward to building new fans of those who are looking to set themselves apart from the crowd, whether it is through a dress that screams attention or basics that look great.
